Interests 35 through 36

Hanna here. It’s where I’ve been. Woo, December sure delivered some lumps. Let’s talk about some of my interests:

35. The last week of the year

You know the one that’s lost in time? It’s right now. Combined with some forced stillness, I’m really feeling it as an opportunity to grow in the shadows and get myself together.

36. Fresh starts

This week I’ve: reflected on 2022 (compiling big things that happened in each month to get a solid picture of the year (it went really well when I look at it all together!), listing what I want to bring with into 2023 that’s been working for me), pulled a card for 2022 and 2023 (both birds, which Feels Significant), created a vision board (Pinterest photos in a Canva template) for my computer background, asked myself deep questions (tried to answer them), picked a word to guide me (EASE), signed up for a manifestation-meditation challenge (of course I did), and found the courage to stick some stickers while setting up a 2023 bujo with new monthly format that allows more space for journaling, in case it isn’t already obvious that I’m an introspection junkie.

(I’ve been aforementionedly stuck at home and trying to make the most of it.)

Is prepping for a new year also your interests? How do you do it? I would love to know!

Anyway: 2023 kicks off with the release of QUEEN OF DUST, and there are a few days left to enter the December Goodreads giveaway.

Here’s the Whitman that inspired my Word of the Year:

“I lean and loaf at my ease observing a spear of summer grass.”

Cheers (seems appropriate),

Hanna
